The state of Wyoming has announced a mandatory update to its Workers’ Compensation system. All businesses in Wyoming are required by law to post the new update in a conspicuous location.
The poster has been updated with three key points:
- Re-wording to clarify who is required to opt in to worker’s compensation coverage, as well as those who have the choice to opt in
- Coverage is now required by law for extra-hazardous occupations and industries
- Companies in non-extra-hazardous industry also have the opportunity to opt for this coverage
