Indiana Occupational Safety and Health Poster Update

The state of Indiana has issued a new, mandatory update to the Occupational Safety and Health (IOSHA) poster.

An additional section has been added regarding worker fatalities and fines. The new addition states that if an employer knowingly violate the Indiana Occupational Safety and Health Act and it contributes to an employee fatality, they will get a will get a fine of over $9,472 for each violation and could get a civil penalty of up to $132,598 for each violation. A new website has been added as well.

All businesses in the state of Indiana are required to post this new poster or could face fines.
