If you are a member of the reserve corps of the United States Armed Forces, National Guard, or other uniformed service of the United States, and must take leave from your job for military duty, you may be eligible for supplemental pay from your employer. Businesses with 100 or more employees worldwide must provide supplemental pay for up to 30 days of leave taken for military duty in a calendar year to employees who work in San Francisco. Covered employers must pay the employee the difference between the employee’s gross military pay and the amount of gross pay the employee would have received from the employer had the employee worked their regular schedule.
