In December 2024, the Washington Employment Security Department released an updated Paid Family and Medical Leave poster to include a new wage replacement maximum and premium percentage.
Washington Paid Family and Medical Leave Poster Update
- Partial wage replacement maximum now $1,542 per week
- Shared premium is 0.92% of employee’s wage, 71.52% of which employee may pay

All businesses within the state of Washington must display the new “Paid Family and Medical Leave” poster along with other state-mandated posting requirements where they are sufficiently accessible and viewable to all employees.
