The Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development published a revised poster regarding the Tennessee Wage Regulations Act and Child Labor Act. Recently, a typo in the release poster was corrected.

- Added working hour restrictions for minors

The Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development also published a revised poster updating the qualifications for Unemployment Insurance.

- Updated to require 4 job search activities to qualify for unemployment insurance.
Tennessee Labor Law Posters Update
All businesses within the state of Tennessee must display the new “Wage Regulations Act” and “Unemployment Insurance” posters along with other state-mandated posting requirements where they are sufficiently accessible and viewable to all employees. These changes have been reflected in our 2025 Tennessee Labor Law Poster and require an immediate mandatory update. Failure to meet compliance requirements and display the updated posters could result in fines.
