The State of Nevada Workers’ Compensation Notice outlines an individual’s right to receive coverage should they incur an injury or become ill as a result of their occupation. As of December 2019, it further defines the parties potentially affected by this notice, including who or what is an employer, employee, and independent contractor.
For additional assistance with workers’ compensation issues, visit the new website at the bottom of the notice to contact The State of Nevada Office for Consumer Health Assistance.
All businesses within the State of Nevada must display the new Workers’ Compensation Notice along with other state-mandated posting requirements. This newly required change has been reflected in our Nevada & Federal Labor Law Poster and does need an immediate update. Failure to meet compliance and display the updated poster could result in fines.
Order the Nevada Labor Law Poster to immediately include this required update.
