Maryland Minimum Wage and Overtime Poster Update

LaborLawCenter™The state of Maryland released a mandatory update to the Minimum Wage and Overtime labor law poster.
This notice includes the updated minimum wage amounts to $11.00 per hour, starting January 1, 2020 and $11.75 starting in 2021 for all employers with 15 or more employees. For companies with less than 15 employees, the minimum wage is $11.00 in 2020 and $11.60 in 2021. The poster also includes updates to overtime exemptions.
This notice must be displayed in a conspicuous place for all employees to access. All businesses in Maryland must display this updated poster or face fines.
