The Indiana Department of Labor recently released a newly required “Veteran Benefits & Services” workplace poster providing information about resources available to military veterans.
Indiana Veteran Benefits & Services Labor Law Poster
- Newly required poster effective January 1, 2024
- Employers with more than 50 employees must display the poster in the workplace where workers can easily view it
- Poster provides overview of important benefits and services offered to veterans including substance abuse and mental health treatment, educational resources, disability compensation, employment and reemployment services, and legal assistance.
- Contact information for Crisis Line, Women’s Center, and Department of Veterans’ Affairs provided
Indiana Labor Law Poster Update
All businesses within the state of Indiana must display the new “Veteran Benefits & Services” poster along with other state-mandated posting requirements where they are sufficiently accessible and viewable to all employees.
