The State of Florida has issued a minimum wage updated based on it’s yearly recalculation on September 30th. The new notice includes an updated minimum wage at $8.56 per hour and $5.54 per hour for tipped employees, effective January 1, 2020. It also outlines an eligible individual’s rights to receive minimum wage and how to exercise them.
This change has been reflected in our Florida Labor Law Poster as of October 2019 and does require an immediate mandatory update. Florida employers are required to display the new poster where it is sufficiently accessible and visible to all employees. Failure to meet compliance and display the updated poster could result in fines.
Order the Florida & Federal Labor Law Poster to immediately include this new mandatory update.
