Delaware Mandatory Update: Minimum Wage, Discrimination Notice

The state of Delaware recently announced two important mandatory updates that affect labor law posting requirements for all businesses.

Changes were made to the following:

  • Minimum Wage
  • Discrimination Notice

The Minimum Wage mandatory update includes the following:

  • Revised to include the new 2019 minimum wage

The poster makes note of the new minimum wage, effective January 1, 2019, of $9.25/hour.

It also includes a new minimum wage rate for minors and trainees of $8.25/hour, effective January 1, 2019.

The Discrimination Notice has been revised to include new information regarding:

  • Sexual harassment
  • Rights for disabled individuals
  • Rights for pregnant women
