The Arizona Fair Wages and Healthy Families Act has increased its minimum wage to $12.00, effective January 1, 2020. This notice further outlines minimum wage exemptions, including anyone who is employed by a parent or a sibling, anyone who babysits on a casual basis, individuals employed by the State of Arizona or the United States government, or anyone employed in an exempt small business that grosses less than $500,000 in annual revenue.
All businesses within the State of Arizona must display the new Minimum Wage Notice along with other state-mandated posting requirements where it is sufficiently accessible and viewable to all employees. This change has been reflected in our Arizona & Federal Labor Law Poster and does require an immediate update. Failure to meet compliance and display the updated poster could result in fines.
Order the Arizona Labor Law Poster to immediately include this required update.
