Product Specifications:
The Illinois Clean Indoor Air Act replaced the Smoke-Free Illinois Act on January 1, 2008 and is in place in order to prohibit employees from smoking within the workplace. According to the Act, employees that smoke may be able to do so in designated smoking areas outside of the place of employment as long as those areas are away from doors and windows.
Employers should post no smoking signs in order to ensure that employees stay compliant with the Illinois Clean Indoor Air Act. These posters are available in both Spanish and English and should be placed in areas of the workplace that are visible by all employees, such as an employee break room.
