The Compensation Notice 5 - Non-Election of Workers' Compensation Poster is a mandatory labor law poster provided by the Texas Workforce Commission. Businesses who fail to comply with posting requirements for this poster may be subject to fines or sanctions. This poster serves as a notice to employees that the employer does not have workers’ compensation insurance coverage and, because of such, employees are not eligible to receive workers’ compensation benefits under the Texas Workers’ Compensation Act.
