Wisconsin Issues Mandatory Update to Unemployment Poster

Employers in Wisconsin will want to ensure that they have not missed either of the two mandatory Unemployment Insurance poster/notices that the state has issued in 2017.  With one update occurring in the first half of the year, they just released a subsequent update requiring employers to list on the notice information concerning their unemployment insurance account, business name and address.  It also includes updated contact information for employees ease of use, along with other enhancements for individuals with disabilities or requiring language assistance.

This change carries a mandatory posting of the revised notice.  At The Labor Law Center we continually monitor local, state and federal posting requirements and will make them available as soon as we receive them.  The all in one Wisconsin Labor Law Poster is now available with all of the latest updates, including the revised Unemployment notice.

The Labor Law Center also offers a worry-free service to our customers through our Poster Service Plan with automatic replacements.  What this means is that we monitor the state and federal postings and automatically send you updates when they are released.  It is that simple!

We also offer clients our popular Education Center.  If you are new to labor law compliance or just wanting to keep up with the latest news and changes as they come out, this is the place to bookmark and visit regularly.
