Hawaii Mandatory Poster Updates in June 2019

The state of Hawaii has issued six mandatory labor law poster updates. All businesses in Hawaii are required to post all new updates or could face fines. The new, updated posters are as follows:

Dislocated Workers/Plant Closing Poster
This poster has been updated to include the new Department of Labor Director (Scott T. Murakami), a new phone number to accommodate employees with disabilities, and removal of outdated contact information.

Minimum Wage Poster
This new poster has removed outdated minimum wage information and updated the current minimum wage to $10.10/hr. It also has the updated the new Department of Labor Director (Scott T. Murakami) information.

Workers’ Compensation Poster
The new Worker’s Compensation poster includes the new Department of Labor Director (Scott T. Murakami) information.

Discrimination Notice
The Discrimination Notice has added new Department of Labor Director (Scott T. Murakami) information as well as a new revision date.

Unemployment Insurance Poster
The Unemployment Insurance Poster has added the new Department of Labor Director (Scott T. Murakami), a new revision date, and a new phone number to accommodate people with disabilities.

Occupational Safety and Health Protection Poster
The new Occupational Safety and Health Protection poster includes a new phone number to accommodate employees with disabilities, a new revision date, and new Department of Labor Director (Scott T. Murakami) information.

All posters are effective: As soon as possible
