Product Specifications:
Effective May 1, 2010, Michigan has adopted a Smoke-Free Michigan which means smoking is not allowed in a placement of employment which is defined as an enclosed indoor area that contains one or more work areas for one or more persons employed by a public or private employer. Smokers are prohibited from smoking indoors while at work, but they may be able to smoke in designated smoking areas outside of the workplace.
Michigan Employers should clearly and conspicuously post “no smoking” signs at each entrance and in other areas where smoking is prohibited under the act. Obtain and post the Michigan No Smoking Poster and comply with Michigan’s Smoke-Free Air Law.
