Product Specifications:
The Georgia Smokefree Air Act of 2005 is in place in order to create a smokefree environment for workers across the state of Georgia. The Act prohibits employees from smoking within the workplace. However, they may be able to smoke in areas outside of the workplace as long as those areas are designated for smoking and are away from windows and doors.
Employers can help to ensure that employees comply with the Georgia Smokefree Air Act of 2005 by posting no smoking signs throughout the workplace in an area that is visible to all employees, such as an employee break room. These posters are available in both Spanish and English.
