For any employer located in Bernalillo County it is a requirement to post the Bernalillo County Minimum Wage Poster, which is a bilingual English/Spanish poster. Through the purchase and display of this poster, in a visible location for all employees to see, that requirement is satisfied.

The poster itself notes the minimum wage of $9.45 per hour, effective January 1, 2022. For tipped employees, the hourly wage is $2.13 per hour, which is the federal minimum wage for tipped employees. But if the total hourly compensation for tipped employees does not meet the $9.35 minimum after tips, the employer must pay the difference.

In addition to the Bernalillo County Minimum Wage Poster, if an employer is in need of additional labor law posters for the state of New Mexico, Labor Law Center offers the New Mexico Complete Labor Law Poster which contains all State, Federal, and OSHA mandatory posters in a complete poster.
