In August 2022, the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment Division of Workers’ Compensation published a revised Notice to Employer of Injury with added information about reporting procedures.

In August 2022, the Colorado Department of Regulation Agencies Civil Rights Division revised the Colorado Law Prohibits Discrimination in Employment notice extending the deadline for filing discrimination complaints.

In June 2022, the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment revised the Public Health Rights Poster: Paid Leave, Whistleblowing, & Protective Equipment Notice to clarify compensation requirements and edit the meaning of PHEW.

Colorado Labor Law Poster Update

All businesses within the State of Colorado must display the new Notice to Employer of Injury, Colorado Law Prohibits Discrimination in Employment and Paid Leave, Whistleblowing, & Protective Equipment posters along with other state-mandated posting requirements where it is sufficiently accessible and viewable to all employees. This change has been reflected in our Colorado & Federal Labor Law Poster and does require an immediate mandatory update. Failure to meet compliance requirements and display the updated poster could result in fines.
