State Mandatory Updates

  • 12/2023 - Reporting Workplace Violence - New posting requirement for the state of Texas that includes hotline information for reporting workplace violence.
  • 05/2020 - Texas Payment Notice & Unemployment Compensation - Revised with additional information on benefit eligibility, requirements for filing a claim, new contact and website information, and a new revision date.
  • 07/2018 - Bilingual Notification of the Ombudsman Program - Updated to remove notification information as well as to add a new logo and revised contact information.

State Non-Mandatory Updates

  • 11/2022 - Child Labor Law - Revised to update contact instructions, change the prohibited age for occupations in sexually oriented businesses to under 21 years of age, and added more clarification for prohibited occupations that apply to 14 and 15 year old children. NOTE: This update is only Mandatory for businesses that employ minors.
  • 05/2017 - Child Labor Law - Updated with new prohibited occupations for 14 and 15 year-old children and a revised child actor definition.
  • 01/2016 - Workers Compensation - Update to Workers Comp Notice #9, changes include different telephone number  & new dept name.

  • 06/2023 - EEOC Know Your Rights: Workplace Discrimination is Illegal - 
  • 05/2023 - Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) - Federal Minimum Wage - Revised the Nursing Mothers section of the poster with the PUMP for Nursing Mothers Act (PUMP Act) and more clarification on employer requirements to provide reasonable break time and accommodations for nursing employees.
  • 10/2022 - EEOC Know Your Rights: Workplace Discrimination is Illegal - Revised to use plain language and bullet points to summarize the laws for employees. Added a QR code that links to instructions on how to file a charge of workplace discrimination. This new version replaces the old Equal Employment Opportunity is the Law poster.
  • 07/2016 - Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) - Federal Minimum Wage - Update includes new regulation revisions as of August 2016 which includes text regarding nursing mothers and overtime rules.
