Minnesota's Clean Indoor Air Act was enacted on October 1, 2007 in order to ensure that employees do not smoke in the workplace. Employers should post no smoking signs throughout the workplace in order to ensure that employees understand the regulations of the Clean Indoor Air Act.

This no smoking poster is written in both Spanish and English and helps to direct employees to areas where they may be able to smoke, such as an outdoor designated smoking area that is away from windows and doors. Employers should use the no smoking signs to stay compliant with the Clean Indoor Air Act and to ensure that employees are not exposed to secondhand smoke while at work.
