New Jersey has passed a new law requiring employers to display a new poster called Reporting & Recordkeeping Requirements which details what an employer records and keeps on record for each employee. The poster is a mandatory poster that must be displayed by December 7, 2011. In addition to posting the notice, any new hires after November 7, 2011 must be handed a written copy of the notice at time of hiring. In addition to the new notice, New Jersey has updated their Whistleblower Protection Act, Family Leave Act, Public Accommodations Act, and Discrimination Notice for the 2012 Year.
