Under the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act of 1994, employers must grant mandatory leave to workers who are entering active military service for up to 5 years. The law also applies to members of the reserve or National Guard, and to emergency workers such as paramedics and firefighters. By law, the employer must inform an employee of his/her rights under the USERRA in writing.

This packet includes all the information that the employer is required – by law – to provide to each employee who qualifies under USERRA. It is available in a packet of 50 sheets, so you can have enough on hand for any situation. It clearly lists the rights, limitations and obligations that the employee has under USERRA. This form meets U.S. Department of Labor Regulations, and can be delivered in person or mailed.
