One of the many requirements of a Federal contractor and their subcontractor is to post notices at their workplaces informing employees of their rights. Our Federal Contracts Poster Edition combines all the typical postings that the Federal Government would mandate any employer that is engaged in business with the government to post.

Q.  Who must post this poster?

A.  Beginning June 19, 2010 Federal contractors and their subcontractors are required to post the notice titled Employee Rights Under The National Relations Act (NLRA).  Federal contractors need to post the required employee notice and also insert provisions in their subcontracts that require their subcontractors to post the employee notice as well. 
The notice informs employees about their rights under the NLRA to form, join, and assist a union, and to bargain collectively with their employer. 

Q.  What are the other posters on the Federal Contractors Edition Poster?

A.  Depending on the contracts your business is engaged in with the Federal Government, other postings are mandatory.  For example, contracts in excess of $2,500 must also post the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act.  Discrimination is also prohibited when a business generally has contracts exceeding $10,000.00.  E-verify postings are also required for Federal contractors.

Q.  Do I still need the Federal Labor Law Poster?

A.  Yes.  To be in compliance, Federal contractors and their subcontractors must post the Federal Labor Law Poster which is mandatory for every business and the additional posting requirements mandated to be posted due to your business contract with the federal government.

	Additional Posters for Employers: Poster Title Who to Post Davis Bacon Poster Every employer performing work covered by the labor standards of the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts shall post a notice (including any applicable wage determination) at the site of the work in a prominent and accessible place where it may be easily seen by employees. VEVVRA Notice The Vietnam Era Veterans' Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974 (38 U.S.C. 4212, or VEVRAA), as amended, requires that contractors and subcontractors with a federal contract or subcontract in the amount of $100,000 or more, entered into on or after December 1, 2003, for the purchase, sale, or use of personal property or non-personal services (including construction), take affirmative action to employ and advance in employment qualified covered veterans. American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2010 Whistleblower Poster Any business entity receiving Recovery Act funds including state and local governments, contractors, subcontractors, grantees, and any other non-federal business receiving Recovery Act fund. Notice To Workers w/Disabilities/Special Minimum Wage Poster Every employer of workers with disabilities under special minimum wage certificates authorized by the Fair Labor Standards Act, the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act, and/or the Walsh-Healey Public Contracts Act shall display a poster prescribed by the Wage and Hour Division explaining the conditions under which special minimum wages may be paid.
