Note: The Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA) is now updated on the Complete Labor Law Poster and is shipping. GINA is a federal law that provides added discrimination protection for employees. Employers with 15 or more employees must comply with GINA going into effect November 21, 2009 and updating the labor law poster is mandatory.

The Complete Louisiana Labor Law Posters include all the state, federal, and OSHA mandatory posting requirements all on one. It is the most up to date and complete poster you can obtain to be in compliance with state and federal regulations. In an event of an audit or inspection, accurate labor law postings matter. Save valuable employee time and money by simply indicating your quantity and version. We conveniently offer all of our posters in English and Spanish.

Louisiana ( LA ) Labor Law Quick Facts:

Effective July 24, 2009 most Louisiana employees are entitled to the federal wage of $7.25 per hour. The federal law applies to Louisiana employers with $500,000 or more in annual revenue, or to employees who engage in interstate commerce. Louisiana has no state minimum wage law that applies to smaller employers. The state “guns at work” law permits employees who are licensed owners of registered guns to store them in a locked private vehicle parked in an employee parking lot or garage on company property. The law applies even if the employer is a school, but does not expressly list the penalties for violation.*
