The Pennsylvania Unemployment Compensation program is designed to ensure that employees will be able to receive some financial compensation in the event that they lose their jobs through no fault of their own. Unemployment Compensation is temporary and is only provided to unemployed workers who meet certain requirements. The program is administered by divisions within the Department of Labor & Industry.
