Description The Minnesota Personnel Record Review and Access Act requires that employers with at least 20 employees inform new employees that they have the right to review their own personnel files. Along with the personnel files, employees may review the remedies associated with a review. Employees may also request a copy of the personnel file and dispute any of the information contained within the personnel file. Requirements for Employers Employers should no longer use the Personnel Records Review Form that is dated 6/5/2007. If they fail to use the revised form, they may be subjected to penalties. Employers should also use current documents to verify the identity and employment authorization of employees (such as passports and driver’s licenses). Product Specifications:
