The Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA) is now updated on

Ohio ( OH ) Labor Law Quick Facts:
The Ohio minimum wage for larger employers is $7.30 per hour. However,
effective July 24, 2009 the Ohio minimum wage for employers with less
than $267,000 in revenue is $7.25 per hour. Employees who are 14 or
15 years of age may also be paid $7.25 per hour. Under the state “mini-COBRA”
law, employers with fewer than 20 employees are required to offer COBRA
insurance continuation when an employee is involuntarily separated.
A new law requires that group insurance policies renewed after April
1, 2009 include additional mini-COBRA benefits for employees. These
include 12 months of coverage instead of 6 and continued prescription
drug coverage.*
