The Nevada Workplace Safety mandates that workers' compensation be acquired and maintained by employers at all times.  In addition, employers are mandated to provide each new hired employee with The Nevada Workplace Safety Pamphlet or a video setting forth the rights and responsibilities of employers and employees to promote safety in the workplace.  If you decide to provide the pamphlet, you must keep a signed copy of the pamphlet in the employee's personnel file to show that they were made aware of the rights and responsibilities.  The pamphlet is completely compliant with Nevada OSHA regulations and outlines important information contained in the OSHA enforcement section. This particular pamphlet also contains information that is recommended by the Division of Industrial Relations of the Nevada Department of Business and Industry.
