The Massachusetts Department of Workforce Development - a division of Unemployment Assistance - requires that all employers provide their employees with detailed information about their unemployment insurance benefits. According to the Employment and Training Law, each employer must provide employees with this pamphlet if the employee is out of work either permanently or temporarily for 7 or more days.
