Labor Law Quick Facts:
The 2008 Montana minimum wage is $6.25 per hour. A
special provision of this law allows employers with
gross revenue of $110,000 or less to pay workers $4.00
per hour. Tipped workers must be paid the full minimum
wage. The Minnesota anti-discrimination law prohibits
discrimination based on race, color, national origin,
religion, sex, age, physical or mental handicap. State
law requires that employers provide 6 weeks of unpaid,
job-protected maternity leave, or 15 days of leave after
the adoption of a child.*
