Labor Law Quick Facts:
The Oklahoma minimum wage is $5.85 per hour ($2.93
for tipped employees), with overtime after 40 hours.
However, a special provision allows employers with fewer
than 10 employees, or gross revenues of $100,000 or
less, to pay $2.00 per hour. Most employees are entitled
to 12 weeks of unpaid leave through the federal FMLA,
rather than state law. The state Human Rights Commission
enforces the state law against discrimination based
on race, religion, color, national ancestry, sex, age
and disability.*
