California Complete Labor Law Poster
The California Complete labor law poster includes all
the state, federal, and OSHA mandatory posting requirements
all on one. It is the most up to date and complete poster
you can obtain to be in compliance with state and federal
regulations. In an event of an audit or inspection, accurate
labor law postings matter. Save valuable employee time

Labor Law Quick Facts:
The state minimum wage is $8.00 per hour. Tipped workers
and minors must also be paid $8.00 per hour under state
law. Overtime (at time-and-one-half) is required after
8 hours per day, after 40 hours per week, or on the
seventh consecutive workday. Employees are entitled
to double pay after 12 hours per day, or after 8 hours
on the seventh consecutive day of work. California law
provides more benefits to workers than most states,
including short-term disability payments, and six weeks
of paid family leave. A 2007 law reformed the state’s
workers’ comp program, reducing costs to employers
and providing better care for injured workers.*

- Federal Minimum Wage - (rev. 07/2007) - President
Bush signs a law for the first time in 10 years to
increase the Federal Minimum Wage. The poster reflects
the 2007, 2008, & 2009 wages.
- Withholding Poster - (rev. 04/2008) - Change to
information layout. EDD logo, state seal, and new
form information added.
- Unemployment Insurance - (rev. 09/2007) - A new
phone number was added to the poster along with the
ability to file a claim online.
- California Mininimum Wage - (rev. 01/2007) - California's
new Minimum wage for Jan. 1, 2007 is $7.50 per hour.
In Jan., 1, 2008, the minimum wage will once again
increase and the rate will be $8.00 per hour. Both
rates are on the poster.
